Becca Hall

TEA President

Becca Hall is an elementary school teacher, choreographer, and outdoor enthusiast. She graduated in 2006 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and Dance Education from Weber State University, received her literacy interventionist certification through the International Dyslexia Association in 2018, and obtained her Masters of Education in Elementary Reading from Grand Canyon University in 2021. She has been teaching elementary school for 18 years and is currently a Literacy Instructional Coach at Grantsville Elementary in addition to serving as your TEA president. She also continues to pursue her passion of dance, and works at The Dance Centre in Stansbury Park, and does choreography for the Stansbury Stallions Drama program and the Empress Theatre in Magna. She has been a member of TEA since 2006.

Being a part of TEA has presented several opportunities for Becca to expand her training and certifications. She was able to bring the Early Leadership Institute to Tooele, advocate for early career educators, and then help to grow the program throughout Utah. She currently is the ELI National Coordinator for NEA and gets to work with new educators from across the country.

Becca also serves on the Board of Directors for the Tooele Education Foundation and has worked to bring several programs and funding to classrooms in our district. She believes the relationships within our community can help to strengthen the profession and support student success.

When she is not teaching or dancing, Becca can usually be found hiking or paddle boarding with her very patient husband, or cheering on her 3 crazy kids.
